Yuncture Investinvesting in Vividye – Revolutionizing the textile industry!
Yuncture Invest is making another investment, this time in the Chalmers-based company Vividye. The company has developed a dyeing and bleaching technique for textiles that offers the possibility of giving garments a new life instead of being discarded. This way, it is both cost-saving and reduces climate impact.
Vividye was founded in 2020, but has already gained attention by, for example, winning Textilia's sustainability prize and HM/Elles "Conscious Award". Now the company wants to take the next step and has therefore completed an investment round. Vividyehas developed a technique for dyeing and undyeing textiles. The technology is based on Chalmers research and is operated by Johanna Nissén Karlsson and Gustav Larsson Utas. More specifically, a technique is used to apply textile prints of all types of colors and designs on textiles. Unlike other dyeing methods currently in use, Vividye is designed to facilitate the removal of color that one no longer desires on the textile.
