Welcome to the team, Nikita!

It's time to introduce Yuncture's latest addition, Nikita Bergum. Actually, Nikita was in place at the parent company Hammarviken earlier than most, as she worked alongside Mats in the role of CEO assistant in 2013. It was during this time that a great interest in business, entrepreneurship, and corporate development emerged. But she admits that at that time something else was more enticing.

- I traveled to all corners of the world, worked seasonally in the Alps, volunteered with children on the outskirts of Cape Town in South Africa, and then at a school in Guatemala. Activity and extreme sports are close to my heart, as is learning more about other cultures. For me, volunteer trips were especially rewarding and opened up my understanding of social sustainability. I gained a lot of knowledge that I want to bring with me into the business world.

Nikita is born and raised in Stockholm, but has spent a lot of time in Gothenburg since her stepfather is a "true Gothenburger," according to herself. In recent years, she has studied her Bachelor's in International Business at Lund University with exchange at IE Business School in Madrid, and also completed a Master's in Management of Growth (MATIX) at Handels in Gothenburg. The latter is a program that combines theory and practice to test and anchor university studies to the business world with a focus on innovation, strategy, change management, and leadership.

Now she is back to become a part of the Yuncture team. It was, to say the least, a dear reunion when she entered the office again.

- I look forward to joining the Yuncture team. I have always been driven by new challenges and to be in an environment that develops me as a person but also strengthens my knowledge.

Can you tell me more about your role at Yuncture?

- I will be responsible for idea generation, conceptualization, and establishment of Yuncture's new initiative. In broad terms, it involves creating a unique concept that assists the entrepreneur in their life, both professionally and personally.

So tell me more, what does it mean?

- We want to shape a completely new concept in our future office spaces on Lennart Torstenssonsgatan in central Gothenburg. An environment that one should not have to leave if one does not feel like it. The idea is that we should offer all the parameters that an entrepreneur needs and wants in their life. In this way, we hope to attract and retain more young entrepreneurs in the Gothenburg area.

That sounds exciting! When will the concept be launched?

"In the near future, we are aiming for spring 2023."

We are incredibly happy that Nikita has found her way back to the Hammarviken group. She definitely has what it takes to develop Yuncture's new concept into something completely unique. Considering that she also already understands how much we value soft values and having fun at work, she will fit in perfectly at Yuncture.
