Salesbyte moved into Yuncture House in connection with our opening in September. The company delivers a platform that helps salespeople drive business processes. The business idea came up when the company's founder, Johan, was looking to buy an air heat pump, a product that he himself had no knowledge about. He chatted, called, and received home visits from several different suppliers but noticed that all the companies were bad at following up on the sales process. He quickly realized that there was a gap to fill and started sketching what is now Salesbyte.
At the end of 2019, the company won a Dragon's Nest competition at Chalmers where they received a bag of money that went towards the initial capital, allowing them to become a company in January 2020.
The team is growing rapidly and just in the past month, they have hired two individuals and now hope to also hire a Development Manager. The company has been in Yuncture House for two months now, and we took the opportunity to ask Johan about his thoughts on the environment.
- Yuncture House is not just a coworking space, but a hub where one also shares experiences with other entrepreneurs. After working from home for a long period, I feel really looking forward to going to the office. It's like having many new colleagues - even though we run different companies.
