Stayble Therapeutics is developing a new medicine for chronic back pain. The treatment, which only occurs on one occasion, is administered as an injection directly into a painful spinal disc and is thus intended to reduce the patient's pain. The company's business idea is to demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of the product and, with the help of larger pharmaceutical companies, complete the development and global commercialization of the product.
The team consists of five people: Andreas Gerward, Anders Lehmann, Sara Richardsson, Matias Munnich, and Jarkko Kal.
- We are really looking forward to becoming a part of a creative and vibrant environment. As a small company, it is important for us to be a part of a larger context that provides us with new impressions," says Andreas, CEO of Stayble.
Stayble is a new acquaintance for us at Yuncture, and it feels incredibly fun and exciting to have a pharmaceutical company in Yuncture House. So, in order for both us and you to get to know the team better, we have asked them a few questions.
Who in the team would do best on a deserted island?
- None of us would have probably survived, but the one who would have fared the worst is probably Anders. He would perish without anyone to talk to long before the rest of us even got hungry, haha!
Who in the team has a hidden talent?
- Andreas is an exceptional researcher. There is no answer he cannot find!
