Welcome Nea - our Mood Manager
We’re excited to introduce our new colleague, Nea, who has joined the Yuncture team as Mood Manager. Alongside Nikita, Nea will be responsible for our entrepreneur hub, Yuncture House. So, what does a Mood Manager do? They ensure the vibe is always at its best, of course! Nea will keep the house in top shape, plan and host events and activities, and be a friendly presence for our members, so they can focus on their mission to build successful companies. Let’s get to know her a bit better through an interview where she shares her thoughts and experiences.
Tell us about yourself
“It’s always tricky to start an answer to this question. I’m a nearly 27-year-old from Gothenburg. I’ve spent most of my life in Majorna and like to think of that area as part of my identity, although people sometimes question this. I’m very outgoing and cheerful, but I’m also protective of my privacy. I’m very driven by self-development and easily inspired by other people’s energy and creativity, which makes me feel at home in social environments with diverse personalities – so many brains and hearts to learn from.”
What have you done before?
“I started working in the restaurant industry when I was 17 and got hooked on it, just like many others do. I’ve taken breaks, of course, and gone in different directions, but I’ve always come back. I think it’s because I’ve always loved creating experiences for others, which led me two years ago to start studying concept development in events and tourism at IHM Business School in Gothenburg.”
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
“I’m really looking forward to contributing to a positive and inspiring work environment here at the company. It’ll be exciting to work with so many different personalities and help bring out the best in everyone.”
How will you spend your summer?
“Besides drinking lots of wine with my friends, I’ve wanted to visit Aarhus in Denmark for a while, so I’m hoping to make that happen. And, of course, Way Out West is always an event not to miss.”
Share a fun fact about yourself:
“I’ve hitchhiked to Machu Picchu.”
Do you have a hidden talent or hobby that not many people know about?
“Haha, I wish. Last time I checked, I could still do a headstand.”
What song always puts you in a good mood?
“Oh, there are so many; I can’t choose just one. I’ll give you three that have been my go-to for a long time:
