New chapter for Yuncture - CEO transition for new opportunities
After eight successful years as CEO of Yuncture, Christoffer Rydhede is passing the baton to Nikita Bergum, who takes on the role starting today. This transition marks both a personal shift for Christoffer and a strategic opportunity for Yuncture to continue growing with fresh perspectives and ideas.
A natural transition
The decision to transition the CEO role has been evolving throughout 2024. Christoffer describes it as a thoughtful step, both for himself and for the company. After years of intensive work and gaining insights into the importance of balance, he feels it is the right time to step back from the operational role.
“Since I made the decision to step down as CEO, it has felt completely right, and I haven’t regretted it for a second. Asking Nikita to take over was an obvious choice given her drive, competence, and personality. And even though I’ll take on a more strategic role as chairman of the board, I’ll still have the privilege of closely following the amazing team, as we’ll continue working in the same space—something that feels really good,” Christoffer shares.
Nikita takes over as CEO
Nikita joined Yuncture in 2022 and previously held various roles within the Hammarviken Group. Her successful work with Yuncture House and her ability to drive projects forward made her the clear choice. Nikita is a driven, social, and capable leader who combines innovative thinking with a strong connection to Yuncture's core values.
“For me, it’s an incredible honor to take over after Christoffer. Stepping into the role of CEO at a company that aligns with my own values—it’s genuinely exciting. On top of that, having Christoffer on the board provides an excellent foundation for continued momentum,” Nikita comments.
A new chapter for Christoffer
Christoffer will remain an active part of Yuncture as owner and chairman of the board. In this new role, he will focus on strategic work and participate in investment decisions while maintaining his involvement within Hammarviken.
“It feels entirely right to give Nikita the space to lead Yuncture forward, while I continue contributing in a role that allows me to focus on strategy and long-term development,” Christoffer adds.
The future of Yuncture
Under Nikita’s leadership, Yuncture looks forward to further developing its business areas and pursuing new initiatives. With this CEO transition, Yuncture takes yet another step toward solidifying its position as a leading platform for innovation and entrepreneurship.
