Mareld awarded best company in business challenge

Competing against over 400 other startups, Mareld impressed the jury with how their cutting-edge technology can reduce both time and costs for food testing, while also contributing to a more sustainable society.
With a groundbreaking machine and software solution, Mareld has revolutionized the way food tests are conducted. Currently, safety and quality tests typically take between 48 and 120 hours, a timeframe that can lead to significant losses for producers if contamination is detected late. For instance, a dairy producer can lose up to SEK 50 million annually due to waste and delayed testing. Mareld’s solution reduces testing time by a remarkable 90%, allowing producers to receive results within just a few hours, reduce waste, and deliver safer food to the market faster than ever before.
