Build a company culture that inspires & engages
In addition to helping entrepreneurs develop their business ideas, we also focus on supporting them in building the foundation for a strong company culture. We know that an engaging, open, and transparent culture not only attracts talent but also creates long-term value for the company. We’d like to share a few tips, examples, and experiences from Yuncture. Let’s dive in!
A brief introduction to Yuncture
At Yuncture, we have the privilege of working with some of Sweden’s most passionate and driven entrepreneurs. We do this in two ways. First, through Yuncture House, an all-inclusive co-working space where entrepreneurs spend their workdays surrounded by like-minded individuals, participate in lectures and breakfasts, join after-work events, training sessions, mindfulness activities, and gain access to a wide range of facilities. Second, through our incubator, where ideas and startups come to life and grow through our five-month program – completely free, no strings attached! Entrepreneurs are assigned mentors, given access to office space, lectures, and workshops, and of course, plenty of coffee.
But now, let’s get to what you came here to read!

Define and communicate your company’s vision
A strong company culture starts with a clear vision. At Yuncture, we often see how startups with a well-defined vision, embraced by both leadership and employees, find it easier to create a sense of unity and engagement within the team, as well as clear communication with partners and customers. Involve your team in formulating your company’s vision—this not only ensures a well-thought-out vision but also strengthens team engagement and alignment.

Encourage open communication & transparency
Transparency is a core value at Yuncture. At Yuncture House, we’ve seen how startups that prioritize openness between leadership and teams build stronger relationships and solve problems faster. One example is introducing an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, where team members can ask each other anything – big or small – which strengthens trust and fosters a more cohesive group. Regular meetings where successes and challenges are shared are also highly appreciated by most teams.

Invest in employee development
At Yuncture, we strongly believe in the power of continuous learning. In our incubator, we offer mentorship, lectures, and workshops that help our members grow, and we often see how this positively impacts company culture.
For startups and entrepreneurs, there are plenty of free events available! Choose what interests you, divide attendance among your team members, and share your insights with each other. If resources allow, it’s a great idea to allocate a budget for continuous learning and encourage employees to use it. Also, keep in mind that there are many scholarships available for education and professional development—Google is your best friend here!
Pro tip! Why not implement a “learning hour” every Friday? Grab a coffee and a pastry, and share knowledge or new insights from the week’s work.

Celebrate successes and learn from mistakes
At Yuncture, we celebrate both big and small wins—and we encourage the entrepreneurs in our House and the startups in our incubator to do the same. A culture of appreciation strengthens team spirit and individual motivation. Celebrating doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consuming—a high-five, a team fika, a lunch outing, an uplifting song and dance, a ringing success bell, or even a whiteboard filled with inspiring achievements. The possibilities are endless!

We have plenty of ideas and insights to share! If you have an innovative idea or have recently started your own business, we warmly encourage you to apply to our incubator.
