Yuncture invests in Lumi Labs
I'ts now clear that Yuncture is investing in the company Lumi Labs. They are developing the platform LingoLooper, which aims to solve one of the most important issues of our time – integration and community through language. The platform, which will soon be available in an open beta version, can be described as "The Sims with AI for language training."
The company Lumi Labs was founded in the summer of 2023 when founders Danielle and Simon had just completed their joint studies at Chalmers University. They united around a vision to develop a platform designed to bridge the gap between theory and reality while making language training easy, fun, and effective.
The AI experience transports you to new countries where you can explore various locations and meet hundreds of unique AI avatars. It's a safe space where you can practice dynamic and realistic conversations tailored to your level of knowledge. After each loop, you receive immediate feedback on your performance, allowing you to measure your language development over time.
"During 2023, our focus was on developing an MVP to prove the real value and learning potential of the platform. Now, we are getting ready to launch LingoLooper in an open beta version on the AppStore and PlayStore," says Danielle Karlsson, CEO and co-founder of Lumi Labs.
Lumi Labs is one of many companies that participated in Yuncture's incubator program. Given their creation of a platform that benefits society in many ways, Yuncture's decision to invest was obvious, according to Christoffer:
"It has long been a tough challenge to playfully and thoughtfully include more people in the workforce through language learning, and Danielle and Simon are undoubtedly on their way to doing just that. Being able to assist a company that wants to solve major problems is a given for us."
Danielle on getting Yuncture as an investor: "When we started the company, we had already heard a lot of good things about Yuncture from our entrepreneur friends. The collaboration with Yuncture has gone from strength to strength ever since we participated in the incubator. Their responsiveness and commitment, combined with their expertise and network, have been crucial support for us from day one. We are very happy and proud that Yuncture dared to invest in us."

Yuncture targets early-stage startup companies in need of capital and an active investor. Being part of the Hammarviken group, Yuncture has extensive experience in building successful companies. They also have a large network of expertise that becomes available to their portfolio companies.
